Condom

Condom is what I call a creek in Horton, a little burg up the road from us, but its real name is
Condor?
Condon?
Connor?
Well, I can't remember.
But it's lousy with Oncorhynchus.
I feel very smug we've had such success in locating the area streams *my* fish are heading into.
After doing this for so long, we've become quite savvy in knowing what to look for and where to go.
And when our hunches pay off with that familiar sound of tails smacking on the water's surface, it's most satisfying to see the creatures revealed in action as we clear away the brush and step waterside.
Over the past few years we've added to our destinations where we're sure to catch salmon spawning, so there are numerous spots to hit on the parade route.
Following up on last week's entry, I give you a smattering of photos taken during the 2011-'12 salmon run off the beaten path here in The Redneck Shire.
(I'll edit and caption these later.)
